PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains what the Continuum browser
extension and its cloud service ("Continuum", "we", "us")
collect, why, and your choices. By using Continuum you agree
to this policy.

WHAT WE COLLECT
───────────────
• Account data: your email address, username, hashed password
  (we never see the plain password), and — if you use Google
  sign-in — the basic profile Google shares (email, name).
• Memory data: short factual notes and brief summaries
  extracted from AI conversations YOU choose to save (manually,
  or on sites where you enabled auto-capture). Full transcripts
  are processed transiently to perform the extraction and are
  not stored.
• Scraper repair samples: if capture fails on a site, a
  sanitized sample of the page's HTML structure (tag names and
  attributes, with message text removed/truncated) may be sent
  to our service to re-learn the page layout.
• Usage statistics: counts and token estimates used to show
  your savings and to enforce plan limits.
• Payment data: payments are processed entirely by Flutterwave.
  We never receive or store card numbers — only the transaction
  reference, plan, amount and status.

WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT

• No browsing history. The extension only runs on the AI chat
  sites listed in its permissions.
• No keystrokes, no screenshots, no tracking pixels, no
  third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
• No sale or rental of your data to anyone, ever.

HOW YOUR DATA IS USED
─────────────────────
• To provide the service: storing memories, generating your
  context link, syncing across devices.
• Extraction uses third-party AI providers configured by the
  service operator; conversation excerpts are sent to them
  transiently for processing under their API terms and are not
  used to build advertising profiles.
• In-app promotional cards may be shown to free-tier users;
  they are served from our own database and involve no
  third-party tracking.

SHARING
───────
Your memories are private by default. They become visible to
others only through links YOU create: your context link
(rotatable) and, for paid users, share links (expiring,
revocable). Anyone holding such a link can read the content it
exposes.

SECURITY & RETENTION
────────────────────
Data is stored with our hosting provider (Supabase) with
row-level security, so each account can only access its own
rows. Data is retained until you delete it: individual memories
can be deleted in the popup at any time, and full account
deletion can be requested via the support contact — all
associated data is then erased.

YOUR RIGHTS
───────────
You may access, correct, export or delete your data at any
time. EU/UK users: the legal basis for processing is
performance of contract (providing the service you signed up
for). Continuum is not intended for children under 13 (or the
minimum age in your country).
